Twenty years after the Loma Prieta earthquake rocked the Bay Area, coupled with the threat of a second widespread H1N1 flu outbreak, the American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter (San Francisco, Calif.) was looking for a fresh message to move local residents to get prepared.
In partnership with Torque Interactive Media, the chapter created The Roommates, a series of six Webisodes featuring robots, ninjas, wizards and barbarians who continue to find themselves at the center of disaster.
Watch and interact with this gang of friends as they learn how to prevent the spread of the flu, escape hazardous chemicals and mitigate the effect of disasters on their lives, all while cracking a few jokes.
