When Wade James got into a motorcycle accident, his wife, Jan, wanted to get their two sons home to their dad's bedside. But both sons were on active duty, and one son was in Iraq. She didn't know how to get a hold of him. That's where the Red Cross came in. Jan was able to get in touch through our Service to the Armed Forces program, which helps service members and their families communicate during emergencies.
