Each year, we respond immediately to hundreds of natural and manmade incidents -- from house and apartment fires to floods and storms, even hazardous materials spills -- in our 10-county service area. Trained Red Cross volunteers and staff are ready 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to meet the needs of people in our community.
Meanwhile, we work year-round to prepare people for emergencies. We help our friends, colleagues and neighbors throughout central Illinois become "Red Cross Ready" by conducting presentations and disseminating information.
