Transportation Services
Each year, your local Red Cross, in partnership with MCPT, provides transportation services to thousands of elderly and disabled people in Hancock and McDonough counties.
About the Program
Curb-to-curb service is available to the general public, senior citizens and the disabled that are physically able to board or disembark transit vehicles at the curb without assistance from the driver. All MCPT vehicles are equipped with wheelchair lifts or ramps.
Transportation Program Hours
Service is available Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Scheduling
Rides must be scheduled at least one day in advance to ensure the least cost. Out-of-town rides for medical reasons are available with additional advanced scheduling.
