Fire Safe House
When the Central Illinois Chapter Fire Safe House rolls into area schools, children get to feel and experience what it would be like to be in fire. During a home fire, children may become disoriented or frightened. But when they are armed with knowledge, they know how to act which can allay their fears.
The Red Cross, in partnership with the East Peoria Fire Department and Peoria Fire Department, bring this interactive experience to children in Peoria and East Peoria.
