American Red Cross Babysitter's Training teaches youth what they need to know and what every parent wants in a safe and responsible babysitter. The class is designed for 11 to 15 year-olds and teaches care for infants and children, leadership skills, good decision-making and problem-solving skills, emergency preparedness and response, and more!

Family Interview Form

Be sure you know everything you need to know about the family, kids, and rules of the household before you agree to babysit.

Family Information Card

Make a log of important information in case of emergency: family names, phone numbers, emergency contacts, child information, allergies, medications, etc.

Parental Consent & Contact Form

This form is to be completed and signed by the child's parent or legal guardian. The signature indicates permission for the babysitter to follow these instructions (when giving necessary medication to children).

Safety Inspection Checklist

Check the home for safety - follow this checklist to be sure you have eliminated all possible hazards before parents leave the home.
